Katherine D’Arcy gave up working for others (besides Uncle Sam) in 2024 but collected years of international management experience in corporate affairs, investor relations, marketing, and communications, as well as community and socially responsible programming, through senior roles in several industries, with an emphasis on financial services.
Adept at living and working outside the US, she has traveled to more than 60 countries. She earned her M.B.A. from UCLA’s John E. Anderson School of Management, her B.A. from Wellesley College in English Literature, and her Accreditation as a Certified Investor Relations Officer from the Middle East Investor Relations Society in the UAE. She is currently completing the MFA creative writing program at SNHU and hopes to debut her first novel in Q4 2025.

Expected to be released in late 2025, The Double Edge explores revenge in a first-person narrative told by the idealistic young daughter of a man deliberately and slowly destroyed by his once best friend.
Katherine has written blogs, policy, annual reports, letters to the editor, speeches, video and podcast scripts, marketing plans, and short stories. In her next career, she aspires to write travel articles to channel her affinity for the work of Anthony Bourdain, Indiana Jones, Malibu Barbie, and Thomas Hoving into remunerative gigs.
She mostly lives with Max, a white labradoodle, in Santa Fe with its opera and art, and sometimes enjoys San Jose del Cabo with its beaches and ceviche. She considers herself a serially unsuccessful online dater, in lack of rizz.
